The durability of Hofers Loam-Paintings The Loam-painting-technique developed by Wolfgang Hofer is an unikale technology of Art, refined in years of practice. The Artist uses only natural clay pigments and clear water during the paintig-process. The underground is made of stable wood. Some of the paintings, especially Icons are put behind glass, or protected with a varnish. Under normal indoor-conditions, even under the influence of daylight, the loam pictures are unlimitedly durably. It is recommended to keep Loam-Paintings only in dry and smokeless rooms. |
