The durability of Hofers Loam-Paintings The Loam-pictures developed by Wolfgang Hofer are made by an unikale technology of handcraft and painting, defined and refined by the artist in years of practice. The Artist uses only natural clay pigments and clear water during the paintig-process. Generally the underground is made of stable wood. Some of the paintings, especially the Icons are put behind glass and / or protected with a varnish. On the backside of every work is located a handwritten certificate. Under normal indoor-conditions, also under the influence of bright daylight, the loam pictures are unlimitedly durably. It is recommended to keep Loam-Paintings only in dry and smokeless rooms. |
