Wolfgang Hofer has transformed the technique of painting only with natural clay into new forms of Art.
The first Loam-Fresk in Europe is painted on the internal walls of the parish pavilion at Alberndorf in 1991, the first Earth-Paintings were exhibited in Vienna in 1992 by Wolfgang Hofer.
He works with many types of natural clay mixed only with water, on different kinds of grounds – paper, canvas, reed, straw, plaster, or raw concrete.
